  We're here to help you have the best conference ever. This page will be continually updated - visit often.
 

Registration and Help Desk
Located at the west side of the Conference Center - just south of the Orange room and across from the Exhibit Hall, the Ohio HR Conference Registration desk is manned by Phyllis Cole.

As we get closer to the conference, confirmed conference registrants will receive several conference-related email communications. Attached to those emails will be your "scannable ticket." Scanning helps us to check-in the estimated 900+ conference registrants that will fill the halls of Kalahari in 2016. Bring this email ticket with you or save it on your smart phone when you register.

The registration desk quickly converts to the "Information Desk" and is manned during the hours when sessions are being held. The registration desk will be manned:

Wednesday September 13th - 8am to 5pm
Thursday September 14th - 8am to 5pm
Friday September 15th - 8am to 11:30am

Conference App

  • The link to download the 2017 Conference app will be available for downloading approxiately 2 weeks prior to the conference.

  Speaker Session Handouts -Handouts are available on a password - protected page. The website address and password information were sent out via email to all confirmed registrants prior to the conference. If you need the password - please see a conference committee member or visit the registration/information desk.
  Conference Survey - The conference app will contain both the conference survey and speaker surveys and will be available during the conference.
 

Meals and Networking - Join your peers and get to know some new friends over breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Times are subject to change.

Lunch: 11:15 am - 1: 15 pm, Kilimanjaro Room, Suites 1 & 6 before the Keynote Speaker
Afternoon Snack: 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm, in the Kilimanjaro Room, Exhibit Hall
Dinner: 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, in the Kilimanjaro Room, Exhibit Hall/Sponsor & Exhibitor Reception

Thursday, September 14th -
Breakfast: 6:45 am -8:30 am, Exhbitit Hall 
Lunch: 12:30 pm - 2:15pm, Kilimanjaro Room, Exhibit Hall
Afternoon Snack: 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, in the Exhibit Hall
Social Event: 6:30 pm - 12:00 am, in the Kalahari Ballroom, Dinner served from 6:30pm to 9pm.

Friday, September 15th -
Breakfast: 7:30 am - 8:45 am, North Hallway
Lunch: 1130 am - 1: 30 pm, Kilimanjaro Room, Suites 1 & 6 during Keynote Speakers

SHRM Book Store Location: The SHRM Bookstore will be located near registration. You can't miss it! Hours of operation are:

Wednesday September 13th - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, September 14th - 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday, September 15th - 8:00 am - Noon

 

Guest Passes - Lunches and Social Event - All meals and the Thursday night social event are included in your cost of registration. Lunch and social passes should only be purchased if a registrant is bringing a guest.

 

 

Recertification Information - Information on recertification can be found on the password-protected section of the Ohio SHRM State Council Website. Check your Program Guide for details.

Lost and Found - The Lost and Found is located at the Registration/Information desk. If you find something please bring it to one of the Committee members there at the desk. If you lost something, stop by and we will check to see if it has been turned in.

 

 

Conference Dress Code - We are again encouraging jeans for the conference. Although we may be professionals in our everyday life, we think it's nice to enjoy a little down time while we are pursuing our personal and career development. Plus, we're at a water park!

 

Why are the vendors asking me for my badge ID number? - Some of our exhibitors may be utilizing some new technology to fully-understand any of your human resource services needs.
