Jim earned his PCC (Professional Certified Coach) designation through the International
Coach Federation, and holds multiple certifications as a Senior Professional in Human
Resources (HRCI and SHRM). He was one of the first 300 people globally to earn
certification as an Authentic Happiness Coach!
Jim is a founder and past president of the ICF Cleveland Chapter, a past two-term president
of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management, and serves on the board of the
HR Leadership Group. In addition, he serves as a Mentor Coach for two coach training
organizations in the US and Singapore, and is an adjunct MBA Instructor for Baldwin
Jim is the author of "Happiness At The Speed of Life: 13 Powerful Strategies for Finding
Happiness at Home and On the Job,” as well as several books and e-books on Happiness,
Leadership, and Coaching, and he has touched the lives of over 18,000 people through his
work on Happiness and the enhancement of Positive Emotion. He has used the 13
Principles of Happiness to raise his own family and to deal with work, life, love, and tragedy.
