A pioneer in digital forensics and IT security, he has helped to shape this important and fast-moving Industry, having testified before the US Judicial Conference on proposed rule changes to Civil Procedure that affected the Digital Forensics and litigation industries. He continuously helps to improve the techniques, processes, and technology in this specialized field.
He is a court-approved Expert for testimony. Damon aired on the Legal Broadcast Radio Network, was published in Inc Technology magazine, Smart Business News and Crain’s Cleveland Business. In addition, Mr. Hacker frequently consults for a number of television shows some of which have included CSI: Cyber, Bones and The Blacklist.
He is an in-demand speaker on the subject of Employment Relations as it relates to technology. He has presented, ‘Investigating Employee Misconduct in the Digital World’ to Pittsburgh HR Assn (PHRA)? Evansville Indiana HR Assn? East Central Indiana HR Assn (ECIHRA)? and the Northeastern PA HR Assn (NEPA). Other presentation topics include: CyberSecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Fraud, White-Collar Crime, Data Breach and Non-Compete/IP Theft.
He earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management, and his undergrad from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. In addition, he holds the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) certification from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and holds the Cybersecurity Nexus Fundamentals (CSX) certification from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
