More About Tony Fiore

Fiore has been a member of SHRM for over a decade. He currently serves as of counsel for Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter, a law firm based in Columbus, Ohio.

At Kegler Brown, he covers several government affairs client issues and is a member of the firm’s international business, labor & employment and workers’ compensation practice areas. But Tony’s primary area of expertise lies in more than 14 years of government affairs experience focused on national and state human resource issues.

Tony previously served as the director of labor and human resources policy for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for 10 years as the lead lobbyist for all labor and employment issues. He works with businesses, state agency officials and lawmakers to lower the cost of regulatory compliance by simplifying state unemployment and workers’ compensation laws, advocating for alignment of state education and workforce development programs with reemployment services and reforming the Fair Employment Practices Act. He has tracked and reported on UI legislation, as well as significant law changes in all 50 states, for the Washington, D.C.-based organization UWC since 2008.

Tony volunteers his time by serving on the FarmHouse International Fraternity Executive Board and as president of the Community Foundation for Perry County. He is a 1998 graduate of the Max M. Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in international business. He received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in 2004.
