Martine Scheuermann has been committed to the HR profession for over 40 years; she presently serves in the role of Director, North America Human Resources for CSA Group, a global provider of integrated services for standards development, product certification and testing, inspection and management systems registration.  She has 31 total years of service with CSA and has announced her retirement, effective at the end of this year.  She has been an active member and served in volunteer roles for SHRM during her 30+ years in the H.R. profession; these roles include at the chapter level President of Cleveland SHRM and at the state level State Council Secretary and Director, and Chair of the 2010 Ohio HR Conference.  She is a long-time member of the Conference Committee, serving in a utility role wherever needed (but her favorite is registration greeter and line control and entertainment).   Martine earned her Bachelors’ degree from THE Ohio State University many years ago.   She lives in Chagrin Falls with her wife Marty and their English Springer Spaniels Winston.  She enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and is an avid Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan.
